Appointments
How to make an appointment?
You can make an appointment via the following ways:
- By visiting Appointments. Your request will be assessed and assigned to the best person to help you with your concern.
- By calling the practice on 0129 358 3320.
Triage Team
To make a GP appointment at our practice you will need to use the triage system. The triage system allows us to prioritise urgent matters and to provide effective care to all.
To book a GP triage appointment please use the form available online under ‘appointments’, alternatively, if you are unable to complete the form, please speak to one of our receptionists.
The appointment form is open from 06:30 and will close when all GP appointments have been allocated for the day. To book a GP appointment via our reception team please call or visit the practice from 08:30.
Late For Your Appointment
Please attend your appointment on time, if you are late you may not be seen. If you are not seen you will not be able to rearrange your appointment until the next working day except in the event of an medical emergency that requires immediate attention.
One Appointment, One Problem
Before you see the GP, work out what you are worried about. Highlight your concerns. Think about how you would describe your symptoms and get to the point without keeping important information to the end. Note that too many problems distract the doctor on dealing with your main problem and the doctor may be more likely to rush. Therefore we request that you address only one problem per appointment.
Cancel an Appointment
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know by completing our Cancel an Appointment form as soon as possible – this may enable someone else to be seen.
If you repeatedly fail to attend booked appointments you may be asked to leave the surgery and register with another practice.
