Prescriptions
How do I order my prescription?
- Online – Using our Prescription Request triage.
- Via the NHS App
- Using our online services – SystmOnline. You will need to be registered for our online services. Please complete our Register for Online Services form to use this option.
- Requesting a repeat prescription through your local pharmacy order and collect service – Find your local pharmacy.
- In person or by post – Please visit our Contact Us page.
We do not take requests over the phone unless you are over 65 years old, housebound or disabled.
Please allow 3 working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
Pharmacy Collection Service
To help you further we can arrange for the completed repeat prescription to be delivered direct to your nominated pharmacy so you can collect your medicine(s) quickly. We have arrangements for this service with the following pharmacies:
- Broadfield’s Chemist
- Boots
- Sainsbury’s
- Asda
- Bewbush’s Chemist
- Gossops Green’s Chemist
- Tilgate’s Chemist
One last note to be aware of is that if you request medication that is not prescribed to you on a regular basis the doctor may request to see you before issuing a prescriptions – we will contact you if this is the case.
Electronic Prescribing Service
This practice is set up for the electronic prescription service.
This means that for most patients we can send your prescription to your chosen chemist directly saving you having to come down to the surgery.
To get your prescription sent to your chosen pharmacy, please complete our Electronic Prescription Service registration form.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication may be asked to see or have a telephone review with a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications, a notification should appear on your repeat slip.
If you have been advised by the surgery that your medication review is due, please complete our Medication Review form.
